About
Brian Bymers (Left)
Brian Bymers was born in North Dakota and raised in Minnesota. After completing a business degree, he entered the US Army and served for several years. He then spent time as a woodsman and wilderness trail guide, which is when Brian began studying the non-traditional healing arts of yoga, Tai-Chi, Kung-Fu, Chi Gong, and Reiki. Those experiences bought his focus to the health and wellness of the human body.
Brian now possesses over thirty years of experience in bodywork. He has perfected his therapies by working with surgeons, professional athletes, and everyday working people. Still living in Minnesota, Brian is now married with three children; he continues to help and heal people daily.
Shawn “Buck” Johnson (Right)
Originally from Wendell, Minnesota, Shawn Johnson is the youngest of sixteen children. He followed his passion for manufacturing after high school at Minnesota State Community and Technical College – Detroit Lakes and Alexandria Technical College. Shawn’s career began in Alexandria, and he has worked for the same employer for over 30 years. Now, he is married with three children and continues to do what he loves.
A Partnership
One day, while Brian was visiting Shawn, he saw a homemade aluminum skateboard that Buck had made for his boys. They began talking, and it was clear that Shawn’s talents for precision work were a perfect fit for Brian’s vision. After months of thoughtful engineering and planning, the two developed My Arm Doctor, a device that mimics Dr. Brian’s own therapies to manage arm pain, soreness, and numbness.
Buck and Brian continue to innovate and collaborate, keeping their focus on helping people and supporting local businesses.
